The SBI Youth for India Fellowship 2025-26 is now accepting applications. This program is designed for young individuals who are passionate about working at the grassroots level to bring positive change in rural communities across India. The fellowship provides a unique opportunity to work with experienced NGOs and mentors while receiving financial and professional support throughout the journey.
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for the SBI Youth for India Fellowship 2025
- The candidate must have completed a Bachelor degree before 1 October 2025
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen or a citizen of Nepal or Bhutan or hold an Overseas Citizen of India status
- The candidate must be between 21 and 32 years of age as of the start of the program which means they must be born between 5 August 1993 and 6 October 2004
Application Process
The selection process consists of two main stages
Stage 1 Registration and Online Assessment
Candidates must fill out the registration form through the official application portal at change dot youthforindia dot org. The online assessment includes an essay-based section where applicants can share their personal story vision and motivation to join the fellowship.
Stage 2 Personal Interview
Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a personal interview. This stage helps the selection panel understand the personality and intent of the applicant beyond just their academic or work background.
Final Selection and Onboarding
Candidates selected after Stage 2 will receive their offer letters via email and SMS. Once confirmed the onboarding process will begin and selected fellows will be engaged through online forums and orientation activities before the program starts.
Fellowship Support
The fellowship offers the following benefits to selected candidates
- Monthly living allowance of 16000 INR
- Monthly transport allowance of 2000 INR
- Monthly project allowance of 1000 INR
- Language support in the project location
- Readjustment allowance of 90000 INR after successful completion
- Round trip 3AC train fare to the project location
- Travel cost for training sessions covered
- Health and accident insurance coverage
